Our experimental love project

“Sorry I didn’t write you back, I fell off a cliff working on this project.”

”What was at the bottom?”

In unlikely circumstances, we met in the middle of the “Pan-dem-ique,” in the caress and calm of late Orcas summer, smoke covering the land from BC wildfires, masks on our faces, and lots of uncertainty surrounding our internal and wide reaching lives. A cheeky date, nearly cancelled at the last minute, led us down the path to a life time of love, creativity, adventure, and collaboration.

We were lucky to find one another. We know we’re both pretty unhinged - little to no “chill,” over-achieving, artistic boho whackos. But in this life we should all be so lucky to find someone to match our freaque. From that dreamy day at the lagoon where we touched feet in an act of acknowledgment (and at the time, covid safety) we knew we were headed into the strange and wild(ish) unknown, together.

We are so fortunate to have been so warmly embraced as individuals, creatives, and as a couple by our community of friends and collaborators. We cherish our roles as community organizers and get so much inspiration working with our peers in the San Juans. You all have been a significant part of our journey, letting work and play and adventure commingle in our lives. Thank you for joining us along the way.
